I was in Boston, near Fanueil Hall this past week and saw this lady in her Red Sox outfit. She happily posed for this picture for us. How cute was that? Do you like baseball? Isn’t it awesome that she was able to utilize her love for baseball to let the world know she was a happy bride to be!

I immediately thought of events/weddings that take place at stadiums or on basketball courts. How different is that? It also reminded me of a wedding where Cilla Holloway Events incorporated the couple’s love of soccer into their wedding celebration. At Cilla Holloway Events, we are into infusing each event with items that are unique to the couple/celebrant, as such each table for this particular wedding was named after a soccer team and stadium. We even had a soccer ball carved out of ice with the couple’s signature drink piping through it. Now how cool was that?

1. Make it part of your invitation card (A picture of a baseball, soccer ball, basket-ball or even a bowling ball on your card reminds your guests how important this sport is to both you and sets the tone for sports themed wedding/event)
2. Make it your event’s centerpiece (now how unique and different is that?)
3. Create an ice-sculpture or perhaps make the groom’s cake in the shape of any item that reminds you or your guests of your favorite sport
